Desert General Hits 1,500 Books Sold — Thank You!

We’re thrilled to share that Desert General has just sold its 1,500th book—a milestone that feels especially meaningful as we celebrate seven months in our new location by in Twentynine Palms' Tin Town.

This moment proves what we’ve always believed: Twentynine Palms is home to a vibrant, growing community of readers and writers. We’re so grateful to all of you who have supported us, browsed our shelves, and shared your love of books.

If you haven’t been in lately, now’s a perfect time to stop by. Our shelves are fuller than ever, replenished weekly with used and out-of-print titles, now organized into thoughtfully curated sections:

Our Local Authors section has also expanded, featuring works by over 50 authors and poets from the high desert and beyond.
