Guest Author Program

The Twentynine Palms Book Festival welcomes authors, poets, screenwriters, journalists, memoirists, historians, and storytellers whose work connects with readers and contributes to the festival’s growing literary community.

As a Guest Author, you may be considered for participation in the festival’s Live Session Program, including panel discussions, workshops, talks, and curated reading events staged across Twentynine Palms.

Guest Authors may also benefit from:

  • Speaking opportunities in panel discussions, workshops, and author talks

  • Reading opportunities during offsite literary events

  • Book signing sessions, especially for authors with recent or upcoming releases

  • Discounted tabletop access at the Book Fair inside the Twentynine Palms Community Center

  • Presentation in our online author lineup, published three months before the festival

  • Book placement at Desert General, our independent bookstore in Twentynine Palms

  • Lodging partner discounts for visiting authors

The festival is built around direct connections between authors and readers, with daytime programming at the Twentynine Palms Community Center by Freedom Plaza and evening readings in some of the city’s most distinctive desert locations.
