Participating in the 2025 Twentynine Palms Book Festival as a Guest Author is the perfect opportunity for authors from the High Desert and across the globe to meet readers, share their work, and network with other authors, publishers, and film/tv producers.

Guest Authors receive:

  • Priority access to speak

  • Book signing during the event

  • Inclusion in communication materials (emails and social media posts)

  • Excursion package including discounts on local hotels

Submissions will be considered on a rolling basis until July 2025. You will hear back within 24-48 hours. See the FAQ for more information.

Frequently asked questions

  • Guest Authors will be considered on a rolling basis until early August, 2025.

  • Most authors will receive a response within 24-48 hours from Festival Director Patrick Zuchowicki informing them if they have been selected as a “guest author”.

  • Selected Guest Authors are not charged for their participation.

  • Accepted Guest Authors will receive a copy of the anticipated program by the end of July, 2025. From that point Guest Authors can indicate their interest in particular panels. Panelist spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

  • The 2025 festival program will be finalized by the end of July, 2025.

  • If you do not want to speak during the festival you are welcome to purchase a table. Start that process here.
