Spotlight on the Artist Behind This Year’s Festival Poster
We’re proud to unveil the 2025 Twentynine Palms Book Festival poster—designed by Ana Criado, a Joshua Tree– and Los Angeles– based graphic designer.
This year’s theme is grounded in the visual language of books: black and white, bold, and type-driven. Because books are, at their core, black-and-white printed objects, the poster follows suit—celebrating the power of typography through oversized, architectural letterforms that echo the presence of books on a shelf. The design invites viewers to step inside the world of words, structure, and imagination.
Ana Criado is a Graphic Designer and Creative Director. She’s part of the exclusive AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationalle), a professional gathering of the world’s leading graphic designers. She has collaborated with FOX, Paramount Pictures, CBS, Universal Pictures, Amazon, Netflix, SONY, AMC, … developing main title sequences for film and television shows.
We’re honored to have Ana’s vision leading this year’s visual identity, bringing the printed word into sharp, memorable focus.
